Airstreams Renewables, Inc. Plans Aggressive Expansion to Include Construction of a Renewable Energy Training Center in Tehachapi, California and Expansion of Its ENSA North America Subsidiary
TEHACHAPI, Calif. and WILMINGTON, N.C., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Airstreams Renewables, Inc. (ARI) today announced plans to construct a world-class renewable energy technical training center in Tehachapi, the heart of California's renewable energy corridor. ARI has positioned a 33-acre parcel that it owns in the backdrop of the Tehachapi Wind Corridor where it plans to construct the first state-of-the-art 20,000-sqft renewable energy training center, with plans for additional facilities in the future.
This new training center will consolidate ARI's currently over-burdened operations to one centralized location and provide for additional training capacity to meet the substantial increase in industry demand and throughput for fully trained renewable energy service technicians within the wind energy sector and other renewable and industrial markets.
Additionally, ARI plans to significantly expand its ENSA North America subsidiary across the US and Canada and to deploy additional mobile training facilities, in addition to hiring and training technical trainers. "With the substantial increase in demand from our customers, additional capital expenditures in equipment and highly trained specialists are required to meet the highly technical on-site services our customers require," commented Mark Jones, VP Business Development for ENSA.
ARI Chairman of the Board of Directors Karl W. Miller has been appointed to run the investment banking / advisors selection committee and arrange the timing and structure of the required capital to support the Company's expansion plans. The Chairman's office is based in Wilmington, North Carolina and Mr. Miller will also be responsible for overseeing site evaluation on the East Coast of the US to potentially construct an additional training facility to complement the Tehachapi renewable energy training center and support the re-training and transition of US military personnel to the renewable energy sector.
"We are aggressively executing on our business plan and expect to move very expeditiously going into the first quarter of 2011 on funding and construction of our Tehachapi training facility," said Dave Schulgen, Founder/CEO.
