PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Air Wick announced the launch of the 2017 limited edition Air Wick Seasonal Scents to help everyone everywhere spread the joy this holiday season. To spread the joy to children in need, Air Wick will also be donating to The Global Fund for Children.
This year's limited edition Air Wick® Seasonal Scents include: Woodland Pine, Sugar Cookies, Warm Apple Crumble and Warm Mahogany. Each scent is available in a variety of formats including: Freshmatic® Sprays and Plug in Scented Oils.
"Scent is an essential part of our lives--it's at the center of family gatherings, holidays and our customers' homes," said Stuart Witherby, Marketing Director at RB. "This year, Air Wick wants to celebrate the central role scents play during the holidays and help our fans make their favorite scents the centerpiece of their homes and celebrations."
To celebrate the holiday season, Air Wick has partnered with Genevieve Gorder, American celebrity interior designer, television host, and costar of Trading Spaces, which is slated to return to TLC next year, to help consumers spread the joy with the following four tips:
- "For holiday entertaining, keep a bag or two of cranberries in your freezer so you can add to a glass of wine as a fun alternative to ice cubes."
- "Spread the joy of the season by using limited edition Air Wick Seasonal Scents, such as my favorite, Woodland Pine."
- "For rooms where you don't have enough space for a Christmas tree, cut the back half off and put the tree against a wall as a space saver."
- "Buy a vintage skirt or dress and use as a tree skirt."
This holiday season, Air Wick will also be spreading joy via their partnership with the Global Fund for Children to bring joy to those who need it most. RB's purpose is to help everyone have healthier lives and happier homes. Air Wick, as a proud sponsor of The Global Fund for Children, will donate $200,000 in 2017.
"The Global Fund for Children is thrilled to have Air Wick partner with us to support community-based organizations that help at-risk children and youth live to their full potential," said GFC President and CEO John Hecklinger. "The holidays are an especially difficult time for children in need and we appreciate Air Wick's efforts to join us in bringing hope for a brighter future to all children—not just during the holidays, but for the long term."
Air Wick recently launched the Spread the Joy™ ad campaign which visualizes the scents of the holidays and brings to life how scents help inspire the joyful memories and pure happiness that come during this magical time of year. Each TV ad, created by Havas, shows how a magical village celebrates the holidays inside each Air Wick product, demonstrating how scent helps to inspire and spread joy throughout the home.
