Air New Zealand Invites Chicagoans, Kiwis and Rugby Fans to an Official "Boot" Celebrating the All Blacks Rugby Invasion
CHICAGO, Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time in 34 years, the New Zealand All Blacks are taking on the USA Rugby team this Saturday, November 1 at Soldier Field in front of a sell-out crowd of 61,500.
In celebration, Air New Zealand is hosting an official "boot" (an American "tailgate") at Howells and Hood on Friday, October 31 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The event, which is open to the public, will feature New Zealand-inspired food and drinks including meat pies and flat whites. Attendees will also have a chance to win a trip to New Zealand courtesy of Air New Zealand and tickets to Saturday's sold-out match courtesy of AIG.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet players from the world's most successful rugby team, the All Blacks, and learn the Haka, the traditional Maori dance performed by the team prior to kick-off.
As the event is first-come, first-serve, those interested in attending are encouraged to arrive early.
