Air Force Association and Air Force Sergeants Association to Host Veterans Day Ceremony at the Air Force Memorial
ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Air Force Sergeants Association and the Air Force Association will co-host a Veterans Day Wreath-Laying Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the Air Force Memorial.
The ceremony will be held in honor of all veterans of the United States military with gratitude for their dedication, loyalty, and service to our great nation. Two military Honor Flights from St. Louis, MO and Kansas City, KS will be in attendance for the wreath-laying ceremony.
The guest speaker for the event will be Brigadier General Bobby V. Page, Air Force Deputy Chief of Chaplains. Additional remarks will be provided by retired Air Force General John A. Shaud of the Air Force Association and Master Sergeant Dale Nelson (USAF Ret.), Trustee for Retired and Veteran's Affairs from AFSA. The event is free and open to the public.
