Air Charter International Fixes Flight on Eid
DUBAI, UAE, September 23, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In the business of Aircraft Charters a quick response and resourceful attitude are just as important as having industry contacts. Air Charter International, a reputable aviation services provider known to go that extra mile for its customers, proved this very point by efficiently chartering a flight for a group of high net worth individuals in a difficult situation.
The flight included the transport of nine Nigerian VIPs from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to Khartoum in Sudan. Scheduled to depart on the 8th of September (incidentally the first day of Eid), the flight was delayed due to a difficulty in obtaining permissions to travel on that day. Due to this fact the VIPs turned to the reputable services of Air Charter International and its dynamic Charter sales team.
"We received the call on the evening of the 7th and at once set about looking for a solution," Clifford Williams, charter sales broker at Air Charter International, said with regards to the flight. He explained that the situation in Saudi Arabia was delicate because of the approach of Eid the next day, which is a public holiday and must be observed by all corporations. "It was a difficult task because Saudi Arabia has very strict regulations about activity on the first day of Eid," he said.
Despite these obstacles, Williams and his colleagues on the ACI team managed to attain the much awaited special permission to fly out of Saudi Arabia on the 8th of September. "It felt like a major victory on our (ACI) part because of all the time and effort we had put in to acquiring the permissions for our client."
A dedicated team player, Williams worked on the inquiry all night and personally went to meet a Saudi operator at five in the morning on the day of the flight, to ensure that the permissions were obtained and the VIPs were able to fly later that morning.
At nine o'clock on the morning of the first day of Eid, the group of Nigerian VIPs boarded a Hawker 750 medium-size jet and began their journey to Sudan. Showing the aviation industry that all things are possible with determination and innovation, the Charter sales team at Air Charter International set new standards in service by taking such initiative.
