Air Canada Extends Agreements for Unisys Cloud-Based Cargo Systems

BLUE BELL, Pa., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Air Canada Cargo – Canada's largest provider of air cargo services as measured by cargo capacity – has extended its agreement for the cloud-based Unisys Logistics Management System (LMS) to manage its domestic and international cargo services, as well as Unisys' Cargo Portal Services and In-transit Service Manager.

A long-time Unisys client and active member of the Unisys Cargo User Group (UCUG), Air Canada was one of the earliest adopters of Unisys cloud services in 1997. The carrier conducted a full evaluation of options before choosing the speed and flexibility of Unisys' LMS solution. The cloud-based delivery model includes monthly updates and faster speed-to-market than traditional software operation.
