Aimee Cox Joins Community Health Partnership As Chief Executive Officer

"I am honored and excited to announce Aimee Cox as our new CEO," said Jeff Martin, chair of CHP's Board of Directors. "With Aimee's wealth of experience and successful history of community involvement, we are well poised to advance our mission. The Pikes Peak region is a leader in the nation when it comes to collaborating across private, public and government sectors to solve problems. With her experience in our City government, Amy has proven that she has the leadership and experience to lead CHP into the future, where accountable communities like ours will make significant, positive differences in the quality of life of our citizens."

"I have had an exceptional career with the City of Colorado Springs working on important community projects," said Cox. "I am especially proud of our recent work to prevent and end homelessness. Our community is embracing housing first principles, lowering barriers to entry in programs, building needed facilities, and making supportive housing a priority. I plan to continue to bring leadership to this work in my new role with the CHP and look forward to continued collaboration with the City."

About Aimee Cox
Cox has a passion for building vibrant, healthy communities and brings to CHP more than 20 years of experience in community development. She has served in professional, elected and appointed positions in local government, driving innovation and partnership to solve challenging community problems. Most recently, she successfully led regional initiatives to prevent and end homelessness.  She has an MA in Sociology and effectively uses both data and community engagement to address the social, economic and environmental factors that influence health.
