CHICAGO, Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Aidoc, a leading provider of AI solutions for radiologists, revealed today that their always-on solution for automatic flagging and prioritization of critical CT cases is in full use at the University of Rochester Medicine, saving lives by ensuring that urgent cases are quickly diagnosed and treated.

Aidoc's solution is seamlessly integrated with Nuance's PowerScribe Workflow Orchestration platform that delivers AI-powered workflow efficiency and accuracy to improve disease detection, diagnosis, follow-up and treatment. Combining Aidoc with Nuance's Workflow Orchestration platform to ensure radiologist worklists re-prioritized based on detections made by AI, enables the two companies to contribute to the recently launched American College of Radiology (ACR) DSI ASSESS-AI registry. This framework provides an industry-first post-market surveillance and continuous validation of the AI solution's performance and impact in real clinical settings. This allows health systems to identify the right solution for improving patient care in their clinical setting.
