CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., Feb. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AIC announces the release of a new line of storage server chassis products. They include tool-less features that make it easier for data center operators to integrate with the rest of their equipment as well as to conduct service and maintenance as quickly as possible.

RSC-1AT is a T-series 1U SAS/SATA storage server chassis that supports 8 x 12G 2.5" and 2 x 6G 2.5" hot swap drive bays. This environmentally friendly solution features high-efficiency power supply, SGCC pre-plated steel, tool-less slide rail, and easy-swap PWM fans, offering a cost-effective solution ideally suited for a broad range of applications.

RSC-1DTS is a T-series 1U SAS/SATA storage server chassis that supports external 4 x 12G 3.5" hot swap and internal 4 x 2.5" drive bays. This environmentally friendly solution features high-efficiency power supply, SGCC pre-plated steel, tool-less ball-bearing mounting rail, easy-swap PWM fans, and overall short depth, offering a cost-effective and space saving solution that is ideally suited for a broad range of applications.

Applications for the T Series line include any enterprise business that processes enormous amounts of data, such as live streaming video (mass media as well as security camera surveillance) and other bandwidth-intensive processes. Big data and data mining applications are also supported with the T Series line.

The T Series line now includes the following new models. The "S" version models have a short-depth of 22" to support under 24" depth specifications from data center demands.

RSC-1AT / RSC-1ATS: a 1U 10-bay design that is flexible in supporting 2.5" SATA/SAS and NVMe drives.
RSC-1DT / RSC-1DTS: a 1U 4-bay configuration capable of supporting 4 3.5" hot swap trays and 4 internal 7mm 2.5" for use in video surveillance applications.
RSC-4H (12G): a 4U 60-bay that can be upgraded to a 4U 70-bay (60 x 3.5" + 10 x 2.5")

For data centers that require more flexibility in terms of power, the T Series 2U, 3U and 4U power supply interfaces are capable of switching between an AC and a DC module with no requirement for the operator to change the power supply housing.

In addition, two 7mm 2.5" hot swap OS drive kit (CRPS version) are available in models such as RSC-2ET, RSC-2ETS and RSC-4BT, providing enhanced features, flexibility, and power supply cost saving.
