AIAM Appoints Annemarie Pender as New Director of Communications

ARLINGTON, Va., May 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Association of International Automobile Manufacturers, Inc. (AIAM) today announced that Annemarie Pender has been appointed the Association's new director of communications. Pender brings more than a dozen years of experience in the automotive and association industries to the job, including a prior assignment at AIAM.

Prior to joining AIAM, Pender served as senior public affairs specialist at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. and as a public affairs specialist with Mazda North American Operations. She has worked in government relations for the American Textile Manufacturers Institute, and, in her first career position, as a public affairs coordinator at AIAM. She earned a Master of Arts in Public Communications from American University.
