WORTHINGTON, Ohio, June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AI Insight Inc., a leader in alternative investment research, training and compliance documentation, announced today that it will launch Alternative Mutual Fund Research Reports in August 2018.
"Liquid alternatives have been growing in complexity and there's a need to access hard-to-find research on these funds," said Sherri Cooke, President and CEO of AI Insight. "The new reports will enable financial professionals to compare the details and performance of alternative mutual funds. Plus, AI Insight gives them the unique value of documenting all efforts extended within the complex product space through our Training, Education and Research Log."
The Alternative Mutual Fund Research Reports are designed to provide financial professionals with the information they need to understand the complexities of these investments, while making it easy for them to document for regulatory compliance.
AI Insight attended FINRA's annual conference recently where a panel of industry experts specifically addressed the complexities and heightened diligence required with alternative mutual funds. The research reports and related platform functionality are designed to provide solutions for these concerns.
Earlier this year, AI Insight hired Lucas Johnson, CFA, to help lead the initiative. Johnson was formerly a due diligence analyst with National Planning Holdings, Inc., where he specialized in due diligence reviews of liquid alternatives and other alternative investments.
Recently, AI Insight hired and promoted additional sales and client relations resources to support broker dealers, RIAs and alternative investment managers given the expanded research and training capabilities.
- Michelle Browning was formerly Vice President National Accounts for W. P. Carey, where she managed and solidified Broker Dealer relationships and secured selling agreements.
- Cristina Oliver was formerly Vice President, Product Management for LPL Financial. During her last year at the firm she was responsible for developing and managing new emerging products. Prior to that she spent 10 years responsible for the distribution of all Alternative Investments.
- Andy Van Erp joined AI Insight in 2016 and he was formerly Vice President of Business Development for two Broker Dealers where he led the product, sales and marketing initiatives of the firms.
"I'm thrilled to have Michelle, Cristina and Andy join our growing AI Insight team," said Cooke. "Each of them brings diverse talent that complements our team as well as significant industry experience. Combined, their contributions will help drive growth and boost our client service experience."
