AHC Media Announces Inaugural Emergency Medicine Reports' Summit
Conference Brings Media Company's Popular Publication to Life with Agenda Crafted from Responses by More Than 1,500 Emergency Medicine Physicians
ATLANTA, March 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AHC Media, the healthcare industry's most accomplished medical media and publishing company, announces today the Emergency Medicine Reports' Summit, an interactive seminar highlighting the key issues emergency medicine providers face every day. The two-day summit at Wynn's Encore, Las Vegas runs August 28 and 29 and will focus on the top 10 matters affecting emergency medicine right now.
"For more than 30 years, emergency physicians have counted on our bi-weekly Emergency Medicine Reports for concise and reliable coverage of the most up-to-date information," states David Fournier, CEO and Publisher of AHC Media. "With the summit, we bring the publication to life to address the most pressing issues that emergency medicine physicians tell us they are facing. This is a place for us to share ideas and learn from each other."
Agenda topics were derived from an AHC Media survey of 1,500 emergency medicine physicians from across the country. This survey identified the following key topics: emerging infectious diseases and management, managing chest pain, toxicology, airway restrictions, antibiotics, reading CT scans and ways to increase job satisfaction. Program Chair Sandra M. Schneider, MD, who is the Professor of Emergency Medicine at Hofstra NorthShore LIJ School of Medicine as well as the attending physician Department of Emergency Medicine, NorthShore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY, has created a notable agenda aimed at emergency department physicians and other associated department personnel.
