AHAM Approves New Volunteer Leaders

WASHINGTON, May 2, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) announced new association leaders at its annual member meeting, "The Next 50…," held April 30-May 2 in Washington, D.C.

Re-elected directors who will serve three-year terms expiring in 2020 are AHAM Treasurer Dochul Choi, Senior Vice President, Global Business and Technology Strategy, Samsung Electronics America, Inc.; Winston S. Lindsay, III, CEO, Lindsay Manufacturing, Inc.; and Frank Wagner, Senior Vice President, Operations, Electrolux Home Products.

James R. Patullo, Vice President, Global Operations Home Division, Spectrum Brands, Inc. is a newly elected member of the AHAM Board of Directors and will serve a term expiring in 2020.   

Directors continuing to serve three-year terms expiring in 2019 are AHAM Second Vice Chair Patricia Bassett, Vice President, Research and Development, Appliances and Cookware, Newell Brands; AHAM Board Chair Melanie K. Cook, Vice President, Sourcing, GE Appliances, a Haier company; AHAM Immediate Past Chair D. Jeffrey Noel, Corporate Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Whirlpool Corporation; Paul V. Sikir, Vice President of Design Engineering, Sub-Zero Group Inc.; AHAM First Vice Chair John I. Taylor, Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications, LG Electronics USA, Inc.

Directors serving three-year terms expiring in 2018 are Tim Ferry, Group Vice President, TOOLS and Home Products, Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions; Debbie Mudway, Vice President of Marketing, HOME, Trade Marketing and Consumer Relations, Helen of Troy-Health & Home; Steve Polinski, Director of Regulatory Affairs, Miele, Inc.; Manfred Staebler, Vice President, Government Affairs, BSH Home Appliances Corporation (Major Appliance Division Chair).  AHAM President and CEO Joseph M. McGuire also serves as voting director. 

Directors serving two-year terms expiring in 2018 are David Coffey, General Manager, InSinkErator (Canada), Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions (Canada Council Chair); and Helen Walter-Terrinoni, Global Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs, Chemours Company LLC (Supplier Division Chair).
