Agree Realty Announces Second Wawa Development Commencement In Florida

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Agree Realty Corporation (NYSE: ADC) today announced that it has closed on the acquisition of a parcel of land in Pinellas County, Florida for the development of a Wawa convenience store with fuel. Wawa is an industry leader and operates more than 590 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.

The project, which is pre-leased under a long-term ground lease agreement, is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2013. The site is located on the northwest corner of 34^thStreet and 62^nd Avenue in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Agree Realty is primarily engaged in the acquisition and development of single tenant properties net leased to industry leading retail tenants. The Company currently owns and operates a portfolio of 93 properties, located in 25 states and containing approximately 3.5 million square feet of gross leasable space.
