AgingCare.com Launches Print Magazine to Support Family Caregivers
Inaugural Issue to Feature Best-Selling Contemporary Christian Music Singer Amy Grant
NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AgingCare.com, the go-to online resource for family caregivers, announces today that this April it will launch AgingCare.com Magazine, a new glossy print publication featuring trusted information, guidance and support for those caring for aging loved ones.
AgingCare.com Magazine will cover topics such as dementia care, maintaining physical and emotional well-being, handling family dynamics and managing legal and financial needs.
"AgingCare.com has become the largest interactive community of family caregivers in the world, every month bringing together more than 500,000 family members caring for elder adults," said Joe Buckheit, president of AgingCare.com. "The print magazine will aim to strengthen this community and bring the content of AgingCare.com to even more caregivers."
AgingCare.com Magazine will be published quarterly, with 100,000 copies distributed for free to health care specialists across the country. Medical offices wishing to receive the publication can request complimentary copies here.
"AgingCare.com Magazine will reach family members who accompany their loved ones on appointments to see specialists, such as neurologists and ophthalmologists. These caregivers tend to provide intensive, hands-on assistance and will benefit most from the type of resources that our publication will provide," added Buckheit. "The magazine will arm these vital members of the care team with credible and accessible information, empowering them to take control of their family's well-being."
AgingCare.com Magazine will be produced by a team of award-winning writers, each with a unique perspective on the issues associated with caregiving. Every edition will include a Q&A section based on the most frequently asked questions on AgingCare.com. In addition, sidebars will accompany articles to highlight relevant caregiving tips provided by AgingCare.com users.
The inaugural spring 2014 edition will feature the best-selling contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter Amy Grant. Grant will open up about her own experience as a caregiver to parents with dementia. True to her songstress roots, she tackles even the most difficult issues with candid eloquence that all readers will immediately relate to.
AgingCare.com Magazine is the company's most ambitious expansion to date. The publication is expected to reach 2 million readers in 2014, bringing the total reach of AgingCare.com and its properties to more than 8,000,000 family caregivers annually.
