Agile2013 Conference To Host Industry Analyst Roundtable With Leading Agile Experts
Annual discussion by top industry analysts sheds light on latest trends and best practices for Agile success
PORTLAND, Ore., July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Agile Alliance (www.agilealliance.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, today announced it will host an Industry Analyst Roundtable at the Agile2013 conference (http://agile2013.agilealliance.org/), featuring leading research analysts from Forrester Research, Gartner Inc., International Data Corporation (IDC) and VDC Research. The panel discussion will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Central, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Video of the Roundtable will be made available to Agile Alliance members and the public on the Agile Alliance website after the conference concludes.
The session, titled "Agile Trends and Future Directions," explores the latest innovations and best practices being deployed within enterprise IT organizations, as well as the latest trends in the Agile software development industry. The research analysts will provide a unique perspective and industry knowledge gained through work with leading vendors and IT organizations. A Q&A format allows attendees to steer the session in directions that are most pertinent to today's business challenges. The roundtable, moderated by Rebecca Parsons, Agile Alliance Chair and ThoughtWorks CTO, includes: Tom Grant of Forrester, Thomas Murphy of Gartner, Melinda Ballou of IDC and Chris Rommel of VDC Research.
