Agile 2012 'No-Bull Know-How' Stage To Bridge Gap Between Beginning And Expert Agile Practitioners

PORTLAND, Ore., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Agile Alliance (www.agilealliance.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, today announced the inaugural 'No-Bull Know-How" stage at Agile2012 (www.agile2012.com). This stage bridges the gap between introductory and advanced Agile sessions. Attendees gain the opportunity to ask questions regarding challenges, issues and dilemmas that have proven a hindrance to quantifiable success in the Agile software development.

"We chose to incorporate the 'No-Bull Know-How' stage into the conference this year in order to address the questions and concerns of those hoping to increase their familiarity with Agile," said Mitch Lacey, Agile2012 conference chair. "The stage will seek to eliminate superfluous detail and provide straightforward advice pertaining to Agile software development."

The 'No-Bull Know-How' stage will feature eight sessions, each with a different speaker. Each speaker will have 90 minutes and will devote 70 of that to answering attendee questions. Registered attendees are encouraged to submit questions prior to the conference for the best chance of inclusion and the opportunity for a direct conversation with the speaker. Those who show up for the session also will have a chance through a question lottery. The format will allow for a multitude of different discussion points. Though the themes of each session will inevitably vary based on the speaker's background, each session will strive to eliminate uncertainty among intermediate Agile practitioners and provide the guidance necessary in order to ensure confidence moving forward.
