AGI to Showcase Space Situational Awareness at USSTRATCOM Space Symposium

EXTON, Pa., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), producer of software applications and development kits for integrated analysis of space, defense and intelligence systems, will display a User Defined Operating Picture (UDOP) prototype built on its commercial technology at USSTRATCOM Space Symposium in Omaha next week.

AGI's Web-enabled UDOP loads the entire satellite database, computes visibility in real time between Space Surveillance Network facilities and orbiting satellites, creates conjunction analysis reports, depicts upcoming satellite conjunctions and performs other space situational awareness (SSA) tasks.

"With AGI's development kits and component libraries, this type of application can be built in days, not months or years," says Bob Hall, AGI SSA technical director. "This is a fairly elaborate UDOP, yet it only took 10 days to build."

AGI representatives will also discuss the software's capabilities for cyber security and the company's role in designing and operating the Space Data Center for the Space Data Association, the world's first commercial collaborative SSA organization.
