AGI Announces Second University Grant Competition
$6,500 in Prize Money Available to College Students Who Develop Unique Use Cases for AGI's Software for Space, Defense and Intelligence Applications
EXTON, Pa., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), producer of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software for integrated analysis of space, defense and intelligence assets, announces the second installment of the AGI University Grant Competition. Full-time undergraduate and graduate students are challenged to propose real-world aerospace problems and consider how they would use AGI software to solve them. Winners in three categories receive a grant and an opportunity to present their solution at a future event (time/location permitting). Proposals are accepted until Feb. 4, 2011, with final projects due April 15.

Students are to identify the AGI software that best suits their problem. Categories and their respective awards are:
- STK® Expert: Space -- problem-solve with a space-mission focus using AGI's desktop software application.
- First-place $1,000 grant; second-place $500
- STK Expert: Land/Air/Sea -- problem-solve using AGI's desktop software application in any of the three domains.
- First-place $1,000 grant; second-place $500
- AGI Components -- use any or all of AGI's seven software development libraries to create a custom application.

All contest applicants receive an AGI University Grant Competition shirt and a voucher for a free STK certification test, worth $495.
