Aggregate Industries US Receives Top Traveling Safety Trophy
WALTHAM, Mass., March 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aggregate Industries US (AIUS) (www.aggregate-us.com), a Holcim Group Company, announced today that AIUS West Region (WR), formerly the West Central Region, received The Colorado Contractors Association's (CCA) top Traveling Safety Trophy for the second time in five years. At the 79th Annual CCA Convention awards breakfast on January 27, 2012, the Golden, Colorado-based Aggregate Industries US WR was honored for zero lost time incidents and zero recordable incidents. Contracting operations manager Rob Wise and aggregate operations manager Kipp Raines accepted the Traveling Trophy from CCA's president Raymond Swerdfeger on behalf of the company's contracting and aggregates division.

With zero recordable incidents in addition to its zero lost time incidents, Aggregate Industries US outperformed six other zero lost time contractors.
