Insider Media Management, PR Firm Staffed with Former Journalists, Tapped to Earn Publicity for American Gospel Crusade
BOCA RATON, Fla., June 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pastor Reinhard Bonnke, who has preached to millions in Africa over the past 35 years, is bringing the message of the gospel to a special "America Shall Be Saved" tour throughout the United States. The first event in Orlando drove more than 20,000 worshippers to the Amway Arena.
The next stop for Bonnke's Gospel Crusade (gospelcrusade.org) is the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
South Florida-based public relations firm, Insider Media Management (www.insidermediamgmt.com), has been retained to drive both Christian and traditional media attention to the free event to be held on July 18th and 19th.
"This is such a wonderful opportunity for Insider Media's team of journalists to share the powerful, inspiring, and impressive story of Pastor Bonnke's African mission and new American outreach with South Florida media," says Insider Media Management's president, J.P. Hervis.
The former award-winning TV news journalist who worked in the Miami media market adds, "You do not have to be a journalist for a Christian or other religious media outlet to see that Bonnke's personal story and the growth of his audience is newsworthy."
"Believers in America have enabled us financially to bring in this harvest of souls in Africa but now 'the bread cast upon the waters shall return to you.' God's message is clear that it is time to bring our message to the USA," says Bonnke.
Pastor Bonnke preached in front of more than 74 million people in Africa over the last three decades. Bonnke, who was ordained in 1964, first became a missionary in Africa at the age of 27. His first fellowship meeting in Lesotho attracted 100 people, but his audiences quickly grew until they filled an entire stadiums eventually peaking at 1.6 million at a single event.
"The Miami stop of the Crusade will be newsworthy due to its uniqueness in the space of large-scale Christian events," says Insider Media account executive Tyler Sminkey. The event will be free to everyone, there will be no offering, and more than 250 churches across racial, cultural and denominational lines are already involved.
This unique crusade will bring the pastor's message from Miami to Greensboro, Long Island, Houston and Pittsburgh.
