AFSA & AFA Announce POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony at Air Force Memorial
ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Air Force Sergeants Association and the Air Force Association will co-host a POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013, at the Air Force Memorial.
Speakers from the host organizations as well as Ms. Ann Mills-Griffiths, Chairman of the Board of the National League of POW/MIA Families will speak at the ceremony. The event is free and open to the public.
The focus of this ceremony is to ensure that America remembers its responsibility to stand behind those who serve our nation and do everything possible to account for those who do not return.
