AFP Appoints Greene to Head Strategic Training for Finance Personnel

Customized education in corporate cash management seen as strategic imperative

BETHESDA, Md., Jan. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), the professional society for treasury and finance, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert C. "Bob" Greene to Director of Strategic Solutions. In his new role, Bob will work with global financial service providers and corporate customers to satisfy their training and education needs.

Greene will work with corporations and financial institutions to identify areas for knowledge and skills enhancements, leveraging AFP's deep information resources to help companies reach their goals. This may include the development of customized training over a broad range of topics, including cash management, financial risk management, foreign exchange, forecasting, money markets and short-term investing, as well as funding and borrowing. He will work directly with companies to identify and deliver content in the most cost effective way to meet the needs of geographically diverse workforces.

Prior to joining AFP, Greene owned a product development agency where his interest in international commerce led to opportunities for commentary in print, radio and television. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an active community leader, residing in Virginia with his wife and five children.
