Aflac Teams With Kellogg Company for NASCAR Races in 2010
COLUMBUS, Ga., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aflac, primary sponsor of Carl Edwards and the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion, has announced a partnership with Kellogg Company. The agreement gives Kellogg primary sponsorship for two Sprint Cup races in the 2010 season and the opportunity to leverage one of NASCAR's top drivers in continuing to build its brand. In addition to the two races as primary sponsor, Kellogg Company will become an associate sponsor of the No. 99 car for all other 2010 Sprint Cup Series races.
"I'm really excited to be partnered up with the Kellogg Company," said Carl Edwards. "It's a great addition to the Aflac Racing team and we're proud to carry their brands on the No. 99 in 2010. I look forward to being in victory lane with them."
Danny Fleishman, Aflac vice president of corporate sponsorships and emerging markets, said, "We couldn't have picked a more fitting partner than Kellogg Company, an industry-leading organization that clearly shares our enthusiasm for NASCAR and our passion for community involvement and corporate philanthropy. We look forward to many successes in sharing one of the most respected and leading NASCAR drivers in the sport."
The 2010 season will mark the sixth consecutive season that Edwards will compete full time in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series.
