Aflac Chairman and CEO Dan Amos attended the event held at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta and accepted the award on behalf of the company.
In announcing that Aflac would receive the prestigious award, the King Center acknowledged Aflac's commitment to diversity, its support for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the company's consistent appearance on such lists as FORTUNE's 100 Best Places to Work, on which the company has appeared for 15 consecutive years.
