For the first time, My Special Aflac Duck™ – an innovative robotic companion designed to help children cope with cancer – will be delivered to children at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Company and hospital executives, dignitaries and invited guests will attend a playful event that includes a ceremony and a fun scavenger hunt for children to find their very own My Special Aflac Duck. To date, more than 700 My Special Aflac Ducks have been delivered to children across the country, free of charge. Chart-topping country artist RaeLynn will join Aflac, in partnership with PEOPLE, to host pediatric patients from the Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt at a kid-friendly music lounge to kick off CMA Awards week. In addition to a private acoustic performance from RaeLynn, whose songs have earned more than 280 million on-demand streams to date, the children will have the chance to participate in a variety of activities including face painting, chocolate making, ice cream sundae building and, of course, singing and dancing to get in the CMA Awards Week spirit.

In advance of their spring tour, duo Dan + Shay, nominated for three CMA Awards, and rising star Morgan Evans will serenade invited guests during an intimate acoustic performance at the renowned Bluebird Café. Following their performance, the artists will host a meet-and-greet with attendees courtesy of Aflac, in partnership with PEOPLE.

Aflac's suite of events lead up to the 52^nd annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 14. The show is scheduled to broadcast live on ABC at 7 p.m. CT from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
