AFGE Endorses Congressman Keith Ellison for Minnesota Attorney General
Largest federal employee union thanks Ellison for his 'tremendous support for federal workers'
WASHINGTON, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the American Federation of Government Employees announced its endorsement of Rep. Keith Ellison in his race to be Minnesota's next Attorney General.
"Congressman Ellison has been a great friend and staunch supporter of public servants during his time in Congress, and while we're sad to lose such an important ally in Washington, we know that he is an ideal fit as Minnesota's next Attorney General," said AFGE District 8 National Vice President Gregg James.

More than 41,000 federal employees live in Minnesota, supporting the military, caring for veterans, ensuring the safety of the flying public, and getting Social Security recipients their benefits accurately and on time.
