Affirmed Housing's Bella Vita, a Mixed-Use, Affordable, Senior Community, Opens Today

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Affirmed Housing will host a grand opening celebration for its $25 million project, Bella Vita, in Carson, CA.  Located at 320 East Sepulveda Blvd, the mixed-use community brings much-needed affordable housing for seniors to Carson. Recognizing the value Bella Vita provides to the community, California Senator Steven Bradford and nearly all of Carson's elected officials will attend the event, including: Mayor Alberto Robles, Mayor Pro Tempore Jawane Hilton, Councilmember Elito Santarina, Councilmember Lula Davis-Holmes, and Councilmember Cedric L. Hicks, Sr.  A signature Affirmed Housing community, Bella Vita provides high-quality affordable housing to those who need it most.

Bella Vita is a mixed-use development located at the southwest corner of East Sepulveda Boulevard and Panama Avenue.  The community features 65 apartment homes, 62 parking spaces, and 3,000 square feet of commercial space on the 1.22-acre site.  The housing component consists of 58 one-bedroom units, and 7 two-bedroom units offered to seniors earning 30 to 60 percent of the area median income (AMI).
