LAS VEGAS, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Affinity Gaming has renewed its partnership with the Alzheimer's Association by pledging to contribute at least $125,000 in 2017 to advance the progress of new treatments, preventions and ultimately a cure for Alzheimer's and dementias. In 2016, Affinity Gaming surpassed its $100,000 yearlong goal by donating more than $133,000 to the Association across the regional chapters where its 11 casinos are operated in Southern and Northern Nevada, Colorado, Missouri and Iowa.
The gaming company's Southern Nevada properties, including Silver Sevens, Primm Valley Resort & Casino, Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino and Whiskey Pete's Hotel & Casino, will commit at least $75,000 to the Desert Southwest Chapter Southern Nevada Region by sponsoring and participating in signature events including the Education Conference on April 27, Wine to Remember in May at Whiskey Pete's, The Longest Day on June 21 and the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Oct. 28. Other initiatives include education, support and engagement opportunities for Affinity Gaming employees and guests.
