Conference Will Focus on the Future of Defense After the 'Long War'
FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- West 2011, January 25-27, 2011 at the San Diego Convention Center, is pleased to confirm Elizabeth McGrath and David Wennergren as the closing speakers on Thursday, January 27. McGrath is the Deputy Chief Management Officer, Department of Defense (DoD) and Wennergren is the Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer, DoD.
Ms. McGrath and Mr. Wennergren will address information technology (IT) acquisition reform and business transformation within DoD. As the individuals responsible for business process improvement and unified information management and technology, they will focus on the recent and impending defense budget reductions and their impact on DoD networks and systems.
As the largest defense and IT conference and exposition on the West Coast, West 2011 features senior government and military leaders and defense industry experts who will address the theme "After the Long War: What's Next?"
