SAN DIEGO, Jan. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AFCEA and the U.S. Naval Institute are pleased to host the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team (WWAST) at their "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" reception. The event will be held at PETCO Park on January 24 at 6:30 p.m. and will be a casual evening of networking with the best of ballpark food and atmosphere. The highlight of the evening will be a softball game featuring the WWAST versus the West 2012 Anchors.

Their armor now includes prosthetic legs and arms, along with extreme perseverance and attitude.
The West 2012 Anchors team is comprised of local military Command representatives, West 2012 panelists and Patron Company seniors, and San Diego Padres alumni. In addition, the team will be coached by several current San Diego Padres players.
