FAIRFAX, Va., April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AFCEA International has announced that the Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium scheduled to take place May 5-7 in the Baltimore Convention Center will be rescheduled. The association and its mission partners currently are exploring the mid-June to mid-July timeframe for the symposium. Current plans are for the event to take place in Baltimore.
"The safety of symposium participants has been our highest priority as we've examined all options for the Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium," says LTG Bob Wood, USA (Ret.), executive vice president, AFCEA. "After conferring with the Baltimore Convention Center, city officials and mission partners, AFCEA has decided to reschedule the event, and we are exploring dates in the mid-June to mid-July timeframe. Our mission partners remain strongly supportive of this decision and this event."
AFCEA is contacting event participants, attendees and exhibitors with additional information, which will be posted on the Defensive Cyber Operation Symposium website as it becomes available.
