AFA Announces Inaugural CyberFutures Conference and Technology Exposition
Conference Highlights Cyberspace and It's Role in Society, Business and War
ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Air Force Association announces its newest conference, the 2011 CyberFutures Conference and Technology Exposition, to be held March 31 – April 2 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, just across the river from Alexandria and minutes from downtown Washington, DC.
Themed "New Strategies for a New Domain," CyberFutures will focus on critical cyber security policy choices facing our nation that will determine our national security and prosperity in an increasingly interconnected world.
CyberFutures will offer an eclectic group of speakers, from senior-level government leaders to private-sector representatives. Our panels and discussions will concentrate on initiatives taken to secure cyberspace and policy that may need to be implemented to help eliminate threats. Speakers representing the top policy leadership in the discipline from industry, academia and government have been invited.

The finals for CyberPatriot, AFA's unique education competition, will be held in conjunction with CyberFutures. Presented by Northrup Grumman, CyberPatriot is the national high school cyber defense competition, designed to increase students' awareness in cyber security and technology. The competition will conclude with an award ceremony for top winners.
