AFA & AFSA Announce POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony at Air Force Memorial
ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The Air Force Association and Air Force Sergeants Association, will host a 1 p.m. POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony Friday, Sep 19, 2014, at the Air Force Memorial.
Speakers from the host organizations as well as Ms. Ann Mills-Griffiths, Chairman of the Board, National League of POW/MIA Families will speak at the ceremony, which is open to the public.
The focus of this ceremony is to ensure that America remembers its responsibility to stand behind those who serve our nation and do everything possible to account for those who do not return.
