Ranked Second in "Best Investor Relations" Category in Retail/Specialty Stores Sector; Kenneth Ohashi Recognized as "Best Investor Relations Professional" in Industry Sector

(NYSE: ARO), a mall-based specialty retailer of casual and active apparel for young women and men, today announced that it was ranked among America's top companies according to Institutional Investor's 2010 All-American Executive team, the publication's annual Investor Relations survey. The Company was ranked second in the "Best Investor Relations" category in the Retail/Specialty Stores sector in nominations by the sell-side. Additionally, Kenneth Ohashi, Vice President, Investor and Media Relations, was recognized as the "Best Investor Relations Professional" in the Company's industry sector in nominations by the sell-side.

Rankings for the 2010 All-American Executive Team are based on Institutional Investor's U.S. Investor Relations Perception Study. For this survey, buy-side analysts, portfolio managers and sell-side analysts at securities firms and financial institutions across the U.S. were invited to nominate up to four CEOs, CFOs, IR professionals and companies. The rankings reflect the opinions of 570 sell-side analysts at nearly 100 securities firms and more than 780 buy-side investment professionals at some 425 institutions.
