Aerodynamics Inc. to Occupy New 36,500-Square-Foot Hangar Facility in Atlanta
Three new aircraft to be added in the fourth quarter
WATERFORD, Mich., Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aerodynamics Inc. (ADI) today announced it has reached an agreement to occupy a new, state-of-the-art 36,500-square-foot hangar facility at the Paulding County Northwest Atlanta Airport. The facility, located 25 miles northwest of Atlanta, will be home to ADI's new regional charter management office and is expected to be completed by the end of 2011.
The new facility is an expansion of ADI into the southeast markets and will be the central headquarters and maintenance base for the new southeast charter fleet. It will include 10,000-square-feet of office space to accommodate the company's sales team, mechanics and flight crew. In addition to the new hangar, ADI plans to open a satellite Aerodynamics Technical Services location at the facility to better serve its customers in the southeast.
ADI plans to grow its charter management fleet over the next year by adding 10 modern business jets. The Atlanta facility will initially house three new aircraft including a Gulfstream III, a Cessna Citation Excel and a Cessna Citation III.
"We are thrilled to announce the expansion of ADI into the Atlanta market," said Scott Beale, CEO of ADI. "The addition of our new aircraft will allow us to better serve current and new customers while we continue to provide excellent customer service and safety."
The Paulding County Northwest Atlanta Airport opened in November 2008. Its 650-acre property is an ideal location for expansion of ADI services. ADI chose the airport location because of its modern capabilities and ability to handle equipment as large as a Boeing Business Jet, an aircraft with three times the space of other competing aircraft.
