Aegis Living Opens Nation's Most Distinctive Senior Assisted Living Community Celebrating Chinese Culture

The Lake Boren 7.5-acre waterfront community is built with inspiration from Shanghai, melded with beautiful Pacific Northwest architecture. The community nurtures residents celebrating Chinese and Asian culture through authentic cuisine, favorite traditional activities, exquisite décor and multilingual staff.

Aegis Gardens blends Eastern and Western approaches to health and wellness that nurture the mind, body and spirit. Twenty-four-hour resident care includes assisted living and memory care provided by staff fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Aegis Gardens features 110 apartments including studios, one and two bedrooms with rents starting at $3,700 per month. 

Aegis Gardens of Newcastle received top honors from Senior Housing News receiving the 2017 National Architecture and Design Award in the senior living category. The award recognizes innovative design that improves the lives of residents.

Aegis Gardens, located at 13056 SE 76^th Street, Newcastle, Wash., will open its doors to the public during its grand opening event Saturday, Feb. 10, from 1-4 p.m. Valet parking, food and tours will be provided.
