Adyen Appoints Kamran Zaki as President - Adyen North America
Company Relocating North American Headquarters to San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Adyen, the global provider of international and multichannel payment solutions, today announced the appointment of Kamran Zaki as President – Adyen North America. The company also announced it will relocate its North American headquarters from Boston to San Francisco to strengthen its presence in Silicon Valley and be closer to the majority of its customers.
Kamran joins Adyen from Netflix, where he served as the Head of Global Payments for the past two years and helped expand the Netflix streaming service to more than 40 million members across more than 40 countries. Prior to Netflix, Kamran spent seven years at PayPal. During his tenure there, he headed up payments teams across Europe, North America and Emerging Markets (LatAm, Middle East and Africa), helping build out PayPal's extensive network of payment solutions and partners.
At Adyen, Kamran will oversee all North American operations, including sales, marketing, product development and customer support, and will be responsible for expanding Adyen's business throughout the region. Peter Caparso, who previously served as President – North America, will continue to lead all of Adyen's commercial activities in the US market.
