Advisors Asset Management Names Charles Sickles as Head of Wholesale Distribution
MONUMENT, Colo., Feb. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Advisors Asset Management (AAM) today announced that Charles Sickles has joined the firm as Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Distribution. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, Mr. Sickles will lead AAM's distribution efforts across all of its partner firms. He will report directly to Andrew S. Williams, President of AAM.

Mr. Sickles brings to AAM more than 27 years of experience in financial services. Most recently, he served as managing director at BlackRock, where he led the Northeast Divisional team for the Merrill Lynch channel to best-in-channel results across core metrics such as Mutual Fund market share, ETF market share and Focus FA meeting activity. Prior to joining BlackRock, he held strategic management positions at Merrill Lynch, including the firm's Managed Solutions Group, Client Solutions Group and Americas Distribution Group. Mr. Sickles received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Additionally, he is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and holds the Series 7, 66 and 24 FINRA licenses.
