WALNUT CREEK, Calif, Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Advisor Software, Inc. is ramping up staffing to scale the firm's cloud platform and associated sales efforts with the hiring of a pair of industry veterans. David Cooper will serve as Chief Technology Officer with responsibility for leading the architecture, software engineering, and deployment of Advisor Software's next generation Wealth Management Cloud platform, while financial services and technology veteran Tom Flint joins the firm as Vice President of Sales. In this role he will bring his considerable experience in Financial Technology to help accelerate the growth of Advisor Software's applications and APIs.

Cooper has over 25 years of experience delivering award-winning technology solutions, including turnkey systems, enterprise software, software-as-a-service, web, and mobile products. He has held CTO and senior executive technology positions in both large public companies including Fiserv and Greendot, and several small fast-growing startups.

In addition to being a Co-Founder of Tiburon Wealth Management, a San Francisco-based boutique investment advisory firm, Flint has held senior positions at Advent Software, where he consulted with RIAs on how to make their operations more efficient using technology; Black Diamond Performance Reporting, where he built out a West Coast presence and led the acquisition of their largest client; Salesforce.com, where he helped grow the Financial Services team and brought onboard several of their largest clients in the Central Region; BOX.COM; and Schwab Institutional. Immediately prior to joining Advisor Software, Flint led West Coast sales for the Mountain View-based investment management technology company, Addepar where he was responsible for bringing onboard some of their largest RIA and Family Office clients.
