Advertising Award Count Total Five for July for Conversation
Marketing agency receives multiple honors for past year's campaigns
NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Conversation, the leading Manhattan-based marketing and advertising agency, was recognized for exceptional work by the Webby Awards, Communicator Awards and The New York Enterprise Report this summer.
"Conversation is honored to be recognized by several prominent organizations," said Frank O'Brien, Founder of Conversation. "These awards are a direct reflection on our agency's abilities to perform in specialty areas and bring results."
There were several honors given to Conversation by the three different organizations. The Webby honors recognized the agency in the "Corporate Communications" category, for their work on the Hearst Corporation's Annual Review, and the "Experimental & Innovation" category, for their work at the RFID event. The Hearst campaign also received a Gold Award of Excellence from the Communicator Awards. A Silver Award of Distinction in Online Advertising and Marketing was presented to Conversation by the Communicator Awards for the North Shore LIJ Omnibus campaign. There were over seven million interactions with the site, with an average interaction rate of 8.73 percent, which greatly exceeded the medical vertical's benchmark of 1.72 percent. "The goal of the Omnibus campaign was simple," said Kristen Link, Account Supervisor at Conversation. "Create ads that made users cognizant of health matters, in addition to teaching them. With proper placement, we wanted to make sure that North Shore LIJ was 'top of mind,' even for users that weren't suffering from anything at the time of interaction."
In late June Conversation was informed that they had been selected by The New York Enterprise Report as one of the "10 Greatest Entrepreneurial Places to Work" for 2012. "We are proud to recognize the achievements and accomplishments of Conversation," said Robert Levin, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of The New York Enterprise Report. "The use of their unique best practice has given them a distinct competitive advantage over their competitors and we congratulate them for their initiatives and innovative thinking." The article featuring the ten selected companies can be seen in the July issue of the NYER as well as online at http://nyreport.com/greatplaces. In addition, Conversation has been named a finalist for the NYER's "Small Business Awards." Winners will be announced on October 10th.
