Advertising Age Names Brian Braiker As Editor
NEW YORK, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ad Age announced today that Brian Braiker has been named the new editor of the media brand. Most recently the executive editor for Digiday, Braiker will bring his uniquely informed, approachable tone and digitally savvy point of view to Ad Age as the brand continues its evolution as the voice of the media, communications and marketing industries.

Braiker was most recently executive editor at Digiday where he helped refine the voice and guide the site through four years of steady growth and international expansion. Prior to Digiday, Braiker was an editor at several notable news outlets including Parenting magazine and Adweek where he oversaw the front-of-the-book during the relaunch of the magazine and website. Additionally, he previously served as the news editor at the Guardian US, general assignment writer and homepage editor at ABC News and general editor Newsweek magazine. Braiker has also written for Rolling Stone, Time, USA Today, Nightline, People magazine, Time Out New York, Slate.com, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Variety and Salon.com, among others.
Braiker received his master's in international affairs with a focus in international human rights law from George Washington University after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, San Diego.
He currently resides in Brooklyn with his two daughters and their hound and is widely known for having great hair.
