Advertising Age Announces The Finalists For The First Annual Creativity Awards
NEW YORK, Feb. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Advertising Age has named the finalists in the first annual Creativity Awards celebrating the best people, work and companies driving innovation today.
Ad Age this year expanded its annual closely-watched Agency A-List for the first time to include new honors, which recognize not only excellent marketing and outstanding people in the industry but amazingly creative companies driving innovations that might not even comprise traditional advertising.
"The Creativity Awards acknowledge that innovation is driving marketing, and that marketing is driving innovation, whether that's coming from a team of creative directors or a start-up," said Nat Ives, executive editor of Advertising Age. "Creativity breeds more creativity so it's important to us to share with our audience the best of the best in this space."
Entrants to The Creativity Awards were judged by the Ad Age editorial team in addition to a prestigious group of industry experts representing every facet of the creative field. Juries for the work, people and companies categories were co-chaired by David Droga (Founder & Creative Chairman, Droga5), Colleen DeCourcy (Global Chief Creative Officer, Wieden + Kennedy), Rob Reilly (Global Creative Chairman, McCann Worldgroup) and Ad Age's Nat Ives.
The winners will be announced at the A-List & Creativity Awards Gala at Ciprani 25 in New York City on April 19th.
Deloitte Digital is the premier sponsor of the Creativity Awards.
