Adventist University of Health Sciences' Student Receives CIC/UPS Scholarship
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU) student Jens Grindley, majoring in Biomedical Sciences, has been selected to receive a CIC/UPS Scholarship provided by the Florida Independent College Fund and its national partner, the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) in Washington, DC.
Nationally, CIC and the UPS Foundation provided more than $1.5 million in student scholarships to make private colleges and universities more affordable and accessible to underserved students. This year, the Florida Independent College Fund awarded $82,500 in CIC/UPS Scholarships to 30 deserving students at private institutions across Florida.
