Advanzeon Solutions, Inc.'s Wholly-Owned Subsidiary, Pharmacy Value Management Solutions, Inc., Signs Agreement With Arcadian Telepsychiatry, LLC
TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanzeon Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: CHCR), ("Advanzeon") announced today that, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pharmacy Value Management Solutions, Inc. ("PVMS") (collectively, sometimes referred to as the "Company"), it has signed an agreement with Arcadian Telepsychiatry, LLC ("Arcadian"). The Agreement is effective immediately. A form of telehealth, Arcadian Telepsychiatry enables qualified mental health providers, through the use of video conferencing equipment, to conduct real-time mental health consultation between psychiatrist and patient. Under the terms of the Agreement, Arcadian's providers will provide the full range of their specialty services to all patients referred to them by PVMS. Similarly, Arcadian providers will use PVMS as their exclusive sleep apnea program with respect to all home sleep apnea testing and treatment therapy for all of Arcadian's patients. Arcadian's contracted clients have a population pool in excess of twenty-million (20,000,000) lives.
Mark Heidt, the Company's President, stated, "This affiliation is extremely significant for both of our companies. Arcadian has a provider network covering all fifty states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. When added to our existing "bricks and mortar" provider panel, this makes us the largest company of our kind in the country. Arcadian has a total patient population pool to draw upon in excess of twenty-million (20,000,000) individuals through contracts with a major national insurance carrier, Employee Assistance Program services, and primary care practices. We expect a significant number of that population using Arcadian's services will be suspect of having sleep apnea and will be referred to us for both their initial sleep apnea testing and subsequent treatment, where indicated. We expect substantial patient flow to occur almost immediately."
"In addition," Mr. Heidt continued, "this Agreement significantly increases the Company's depth and capabilities since it not only provides us with providers in all fifty states, but gives us the added advantage of having our patient population be able to receive their initial sleep apnea evaluation electronically from the Arcadian provider – a particularly significant advantage when considering the high mobility of our Teamsters population. Adding electronic mobile technology to our already robust land-based program adds yet another dimension to our program which places us even further ahead of any potential competitor and sets yet another bar for others to reach for."
Robert Plotkin, President and CEO of Arcadian Telepsychiatry, stated, "I am extremely pleased to have entered into this Agreement with PVMS. The Company's areas of expertise are both sleep apnea and behavioral health. Arcadian's area of expertise is behavioral health. Our Agreement provides for the mutual exchange of our patient population, when indicated. I believe the synergies achievable between our two companies are extraordinary. I am confident that the inter-workings of our companies will prove to be extremely financially beneficial for both companies and provide significant benefits to our respective patients."
