Advanstar Communications Chooses Rogers & Cowan for Licensing International Expo 2010
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Rogers & Cowan CEO, Tom Tardio, today announced that it has been selected by Advanstar Communications Inc., a leading worldwide media company, to manage public relations for the 2010 Licensing International Expo, the most established licensing event in the world. Rogers & Cowan was selected for its expertise in media relations, strategic planning and social media.
Celebrating its 30th year, Licensing International Expo has become a global marketplace for leveraging brand and property equity for new licensed consumer products. The show's appeal brings together nearly 20,000 senior retail and manufacturing executives from more than 82 countries that look to Licensing International Expo to discover new brands and revenue generating opportunities within the $191 billion licensing industry. The 2010 show will take place June 8-10, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Rogers & Cowan will help increase the profile of Licensing International Expo as it celebrates its second year moving venues from New York to Las Vegas. The agency will also utilize social media tools to help media outlets cover all significant news being made as more than $1 billion of business annually is typically transacted on the show's floor.
