AUSTIN, Texas, June 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) has indicated an end to the Meaningful Use Program under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), that will change the way hospitals and providers are compensated for the utilization of information technology tools.

Lynn Barr, CEO of Caravan Health, will present a one-hour webcast, Advancing Care Information, Meaningful Use 2.0, addressing steps providers can take to prepare for the proposed changes to the Meaningful Use Program through the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
"Caravan Health is working on the behalf of providers to ensure that the final outcome of the proposed MACRA rule is practical," says Ms. Barr. "Participants will gain a clear understanding of how they can make this program work for them, and have the opportunity to engage in commenting to help improve the proposed policy."
This webinar is the fourth installment of Caravan Health's MACRA Educational Series, a prelude to this summer's Caravan Health MACRA/CPC+/ACO Boot Camp – a simple and effective nine week program to prepare providers for success under MACRA and to qualify primary care practices for consideration under the upcoming Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) initiative.
The webinar will take place Tuesday, June 21 at 11am PT/1pm CT/2pm ET. Log in to www.readytalk.com and enter participant code 5004771. An audio-only option is available by dialing (303) 248-0285 and entering 5004771.
