MORRISTOWN, N.J., Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. (ASCI) today announced it has been named a "Value Leader" in the latest Radar Report for Workload Automation (WLA) by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), a top IT and data management research and consulting firm. In addition, ASCI's ActiveBatch IT Automation won the "Best Native Managed File Transfer" award.
Fourteen solution providers were evaluated by EMA for the report, in multidimensional categories. ASCI ranked among the highest in both functionality and cost advantage, earning its title as a "Value Leader." Overall, ASCI received a rating of "outstanding," "strong" or "solid" in 47 key categories. ActiveBatch was particularly noted for its Managed File Transfer (MFT) capabilities.
The ability to securely and reliably exchange files is becoming more complex as the number of disparate systems increases and regulations become more stringent. As transfers often contain the same or similar parameters, automation makes sense. Users can reliably build and automate complex MFT workflows. ActiveBatch's MFT functionality saves development time and makes the maintenance of these workflows simpler, as well as increasing flexibility and performance.
According to the report, "ActiveBatch puts users in control of file transfers with cross-platform and cross-application scheduling, automation, alerting and auditing capabilities. EMA believes that modern, enterprise-class workload automation tools are the most logical place to manage and control repetitive workflows, including file transfers, and ActiveBatch provides a best-in-class MFT capability."
"Our goal has always been to provide the best solutions, services, and support for our customers, and our leadership position in this report is evidence of that," said Jim Manias, Vice President at ASCI. "By offering an advanced IT Automation solution that takes an architectural, layered approach to automation, we help our customers succeed in their digital transformations and help IT teams directly drive business value."
"In the latest EMA Radar Report for Workload Automation, ActiveBatch from Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. (ASCI) was once again named a Value Leader,” said Dan Twing, President and Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Management Associates. “ActiveBatch offers standout capabilities in multiple automation areas such as Cloud, Big Data, and Managed File Transfer, winning the award for Best Native Managed File Transfer. Advanced Systems Concepts continues to thrive entirely by organic growth and remains independently owned and operated as they have for over 35 years."
