Advanced Dermatology Announces 5th Annual Skin for Life Benefiting The Skin Cancer Foundation

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bringing attention to the prevention and detection of skin cancer is the focus of Skin for Life, an annual benefit for The Skin Cancer Foundation.  The benefit includes a fashion show, silent auction, local retail vendors as well as medical and cosmetic skincare demonstrations. 

At this year's benefit, celebrity Christopher Knight will share for the first time his skin cancer story.  Susanna Negovan, Editor and Publisher of SPLASH, the event's media sponsor, will emcee the event for the fourth year.  In addition, Miss Chicago 2015 and Chicago Luvabull, Whitney Wandland will make a special guest appearance.  The sun protective clothing lines, MOTT 50 and Coolibar, along with local Chicago fashion designers, ricorso, elena bobysheva, and GIDI, will take the stage for a night of entertainment.  

Ticket sales, silent auction bids, and a percentage of purchases from exhibiting vendors will be donated to The Skin Cancer Foundation in anticipation of exceeding last year's total of $20,000 for the foundation.  Guests will receive a Swag Bag for an entry fee of $75.  Tickets can also be purchased the night of the event for $100 and guests without an RSVP can purchase a ticket for $100 at the door.
