In 2014, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) will broaden the definition of who qualifies for benefits under employer-sponsored health plans.

In order to more accurately estimate potential future health costs and evaluate different possible coverage scenarios under the ACA, employers must first understand key variables that may potentially determine employees' future participation in health plans.
